Yarra-United Cricket Club is based at Dandenong, South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.It started in 2010 with friends and mates,playing outdoor and indoor cricket together and on September 10-2013, it became a registered Cricket Club. Purpose of Yarra-United is to promote the game of cricket and to provide competitive and enjoyable cricketing experience to the players and members of all backgrounds and abilities. It also focuses on the mental and physical fitness of all the involved members and provides ongoing opportunities to its players to enhance their leadership skills and individuals improvement. Club also conducts regular off-field activities and events for its members and players.
Yarra-Utd Cricket Club has launched a social campaign for the kids, especially for those, who cannot afford sports equipments to pursue their cricket and other sports interests. We are endeavouring to provide free of cost Bats, Balls and Soccer Balls to those passionate and enthusiatic kids. We are hoping that this would bring some smiles and joys to the families, who needed it most at these tough Covid-times. Yarra United Cricket Club believes that "FITNESS IS NOT AN OPTION, IT IS A WAY OF LIFE" and training programs are designed by club coaches and these programmes are tailormade and suitable as per the individual's needs and requirements.
Raj is a Level-2 Cricket coach, An Experienced Captain and Mentor of the team/young members of the club community. He is an integral part of fitness group/bootcamps and promotes fitness activities throughout the community. Raj is a batting alrounder, who can ball handy off spin, can assist in wicket keeping too. He has proudly won Premiership and Runnersup flags with the Yarra United senior team. He has represented Inter-varsity sports, TAC cup, Melbourne Star India Team and Renegade Recruit Programme. He has coached Junior Girls team and U18 Girls team of Silverton, that represented finals in DDCA camp.
TEAM 
Happy is known for his explosive ball striking abilities. As an opener, he can easily take the game away from any opposition. He has played many important innings for the team winning cause. He is a handy leg breaker and a very encouraging team player, who always motivates his team in any situation. He is a strong spirited cricketer and human being.
Sukh is a fine batting alrounder, who has a tremendous ball striking calibre. He is a swing bowler and excellent fielder with strong fast legs. He is the most Fittest player around and has setup very high standard in physical fitness. He is a fine team player with great sense of humor and has a strong bouncing back personality.
Monu is a handy alrounder, who can bat on the top and infact in any order, for the team cause. He has played many productive innings, where he has played pivotal role in winning many of the games. He is an effective swing bowler, who's main asset is Swing and can swing the ball in both ways. Very valuable Team player, who is ready to take initiatives in tough situations.
Johnny is a batting alrounder and genuine match winner. His explosive hitting is very handy and can adjust his game as per the situation. He has got 45 balls- A Grade Hundred- on his name and his off spin with extra turn is an added advantage. He is a strong fielder and a very fit runner. His punctuality is none to other and a very relaible individual and club comrade.
Khushwinder is a top order batsman and genuine striker of the cricket ball. He is the team man and always rank Team First, dosen't matter what the situation is. He can deliver exclusive winning punches and can take the game away from any situation. He is genuine keeper and relaible slip and point fielder. Very fit and strong individual, who never give up.
Sir G is an orthodox left arm spinner and can play a handy bowling alrounder. With his magical bowling, he has won many games single handedly. He can turn and fox the batsman with his smart setups. Very valuable Team player and one of the pioneer to start the team and club. He is a very motivating individual and never let anyone to loose morale and great asset to be around.
Lucky is a batting alrounder and reliable slip fielder. A team man and always consider team first. He is known for his smart batting with straight bat and helped his side on numerous occasions. He has played crucial innings for the team cause. He is a handy off breaker and a very encouraging team player. He is a strong fielder and quick runner. A reliable individual, who always work for the team betterment.
Surjit is one of the pioneers of this club. He is an excellent Bowling alrounder, Absolute Rockstar and gritty-skiddy bowler, who can bowl @130+, double hatrick holder. Many players can win you a game but he can win you a FLAG, The ultimate honour. He has won many tournaments and series for his teams. He can lead from the front and has Captained Yarra side in many seasons. He can bat and hit the ball hard and won us many games with his last wicket contributions.
Mohit is a batting alrounder and a right hand medium swing bowler. He is a top order batsman and has played many quick cameo knocks to get his team out of trouble situation and a very valuable swing bowler and specialised in breaking partnership.
Prabhav is a budding cricketer of the club. He is an elegant Opener,top order batsman and a leg breaker bowler and a strong fielder. He is a keen learner and always stay upbeat in any situation and always motivate his peers and everyone around.
Kamya is top order batter and known for her a strong ball hitting qualties and abilities to own the crease. She is a leg breaker and can keep the stumps as well. She is a jovial personalty and always encourage her team all the time. A strong fileder and known for her direct hit run-outs.
Laksh is a Quick fast bowler and very handy alrounder. He can bat in the top & middle order and can take the game to its ultimate winning end. He is not only a match winner but also a series and a FLAG winner player. Absolute Team player and genuinly quick with his lethal yorkers that can go 130+ at times. He has lead the team from the front and delivered goods. He is strong leader and never gives up in any situation and Always gives his best & 100% in any situation.
Jashan is a founding member of the club and absolute team player. A top order batsman and handy off breaker with quick one's. He has lead the team on many occassions and won a winter runnerup championship for the club. He is a strong leader, who want to win all the time and gives his best & 200% in any situation.
Sajjan is a Quick fast bowler and top order batsman and genuine alrounder. Top order batsman and can single handedly take the game to its ultimate winning end. He is a big match winner. Absolute Team player and genuinly quick with his in-out swings and yorkers. He has lead the team from the front and delivered goods many times. He is a strong leader and never gives up in any situation and big hearted personality.
Imroz is a batting alrounder and right hand medium pacer He is a top order batsman and played many match winning knocks. He is a leading run scorer of the club and MCA comp and has won medal for his batting contributions. He has a strong analytical abilties and good plan adviser. His bowling skills are excellent and has taken a hatrick in a high profile game.
Vishal is specialist off break bowler and known fo his drift and turn. A very agile and strong fielder, who can play crucial hitting down the order in batting. A genuine high performer and a match winner. He is a team man and always encourages everyone around and try to help and assist in every possible way.
Naimat is a genuine alrounder, who can destruct opposition in any given oppurtunity with bat and ball, excellent fielder with full of agility and speed.. He has transit from junior to senior role handsomely and always handle lots of responsibiity in and out of the field and genuine team man.
Taran is a genuine quick bowler and a very handy middle order hard hitting batsman. He is known foor his wicket taking abilities and famous for breaking opposition partnerships. His fielding, fitness and over all skills are exemplary and finds him as a perfect fit for any high profile game.

Yarra United Cricket Club has organised cricket camp for young cricketers in Punjab, India. Club has organised batting and bowling clinics and shared field sessions with players. Club has also organised cricket tournament and distributed prizes and provided uniforms and donations to the native cricket academy.
